This January Express Swimmers traveled to the University of Maryland to compete at the IMXtreme Games sponsored by United States Swimming. The IMXtreme Games promote and reward versatility in age group swimming while advocating greater participation and development across a range of events. The goal is to enable long term success in swimming.

Congratulations to Express' two newest Junior National qualifiers Mia and Georgeanne! Mia recently sprinted her way to Juniors with a blistering 59.66 in the 100 Meter Free. At the NYS Girls High School Championships, Georgeanne qualified for Juniors in her favorite event the 100 yard Breast with an awesome 1:04.48.

Fast swimming at the Winterfest Meet from Matthew Chang who set an Express Team Record in the Boys 11-12 400 yard IM with a speedy 4:39.23. Way to go, Matthew!
